Where did my tax dollars go?

Have you seen this? It’s great. Plug in your gross income and it’ll figure out where your tax dollars went.

Ten percent of my tax dollars went into a category called “Net Interest” and 43% of that went into a subcategory called “Interest Paid to Trust Fund Receipt Accounts”.

Hold. The. Fucking. Phone.

This isn’t that type of Trust Fund, is it? Cause that is some bullshit. The idea that my tax dollars could potentially be going to support some asshole, fuckface, ski trip taking, GHB using, greek pledeging, future Senator of America when they could be going to ANY NUMBER OF OTHER THINGS! AGH!

Meanwhile, only $126 of my taxes went towards Pell Grants and $23 went towards disaster relief.

Someone please tell me I’m thinking of the wrong thing on this trust fund thing.
