Bye Bye Blender Magazine :(
This is too bad. I always felt that Blender did a great job of giving due to all music, in all genres, on both sides of the indie/mainstream divide. While I was never a big fan of its pin-up style covers (it was in the Maxim family of magazines, afterall), I really enjoyed its perspective on music stardom, celebrity, and the industry overall. Unpretentious, readable reviews and a snarky sense of humor made it a pleasure to read each month.
